To begin to explain the importance of graphic design, first, we must specify the difference between two relevant terms: Branding and Identity. In essence, Identity is what the company thinks of itself and Branding is what others think.
When we speak of identity, we refer to a set of aspects that represent the company. It can involve something as obvious as the creation of the logo or other important elements like all the stationery that may be required, and it must always be constant, in the same style, so that it is recognizable. When you already have an established identity, the goal is to transfer the Branding to the Identity that has been created.
Allow people to think what you want them to think about your brand. This is why we strive first to strengthen the identity and thus be able to carry the message you want.
