Personal brands have five elements: non verbal language, verbal language, reputation, physical appearance and online image. Aligning them with you is the key to making it work and making you feel comfortable with your brand. An appropriate visual language is the glue that keeps these elements together and makes them work. Anything from emojis to dress code, logos, and corporate colors, they are all useful when properly aligned.
When we receive a message, we remember 80% of its content if it is made up of images. However, we only remember 10% if it is made up of text. This is due to our brain’s preference for visual content. Colors can convey emotions and values: passion, calm, joy, vitality, etc. And elements or objects such as a kite, a rocket, or a heart, for example, communicate characteristics of a person or a brand that stick in our minds.
