The Technology

QUASR Assays are a modified version of a Loop-Isothermal Amplification Assay.  LAMP assays are next generation PCR assays used for molecular diagnostics.  They have the benefit of being cheap, resistant to inhibitors and do not require temperature cycling making the hardware requirements simple.  LAMP assays have great potential but are prone to False positive results.  QUASR technology uses an unique quenching technology to overcome the limiations of LAMP assays.  QUASR assays are brighter, simpler, and easily designed.  QUASR assays against Biothreats have shown improved performance to TAQMAN and current PCR baesd detection technologies
